MEET KIMBERLY
Drawn to the challenge of mastering a nearly forgotten craft, Kimberly fell in love with traditional hat making: the precision, patience, and technical skill required to create something exceptional by hand. Her pursuit of the craft has led her in search of vintage tools, time-honored techniques, and the finest materials; preserving an art form that values quality over speed and individuality over mass production.
After undergoing treatment for skin cancer, hats became more than an accessory. Unable to find hats that combined exceptional fit with beautiful materials, Kimberly set out to learn the traditional craft herself. What began as a practical necessity soon became a passion for mastering the art of hat making.
When not in the atelier, Kimberly enjoys discovering new restaurants in Chicago with her husband, Ted, hiking in Colorado, visiting her twin daughters in Miami, listening to vinyl, and walking her Bernese Mountain dog, Spice, whose fluffy coat has a way of making everyone smile.
